"It is actually a nice property but its attitude to guests is off the mark. The check-in instructions are complicated and officious. The door entry system is weird and puts you at the mercy of your phone's battery. They don't let you control the heating and warn against using too much hot water. They would charge you for the air you breath if only they could measure it. It feels like they would be happier if no-one stayed there. Perhaps the place is managed by Basil Fawlty?"

"Check-in was smooth, we stayed in room 58 which had a double bed, tv, on-suite shower & toilet, plenty of plug sockets and tea & coffee making facilities, heating & aircon, room was clean.
We had breakfast included which was really good with a selection of cereals, toast, fruit, yogurt, tea/coffee & a full cooked breakfast.
The hotel is really central to everything, we parked the car in St Stephen’s car park which is a 1-2 minute walk & costs £4.50 for 24hrs. We would definitely stay here again...

"Great value stay in a great location. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The room was warm and comfortable with a great shower and a comfortable mattress on the bed.
We could not fault our stay at the Ibis. ( a great breakfast too )"

"staff efficient friendly and fast
my single room 38 was neat tidy compact and clean yet would benefit from double glazing - an old building well restored yet room drafty at night"
"DO NOT BOOK this apartment. We arrived at property with an eviction notice on door - property has been repossessed. The number given when booking this property ignored messages and made us believe that we could stay. Scammers who are now not willing to issue a refund."
"We didn’t stay! As the hotel decided to cancel the evening before the Coldplay concert due to weather! What absolute rubbish. So disappointed and would never consider staying there again. Even paid upfront and booked months in advance. If I had have cancelled within 24 hours I would have been charged! We had to book another hotel which cost us above the odds just so we could attend the concert. A very upsetting and stressful experience. "
