A reasonably priced hotel in the center of Hsingchu City. Accessible by feet from the local station. The staff is friendly, the room are large and comfortable. Dining options nearby. On the evening I visited, there was a typhoon and it was rainy and windy, still I enjoyed my stay.

Staff are friendly and very responsive. Having laundry options, the gym, a microwave, ice maker, and a lounge area all on the top floor was super convenient. It’s close to good restaurants and a decent shopping area. The only issue you may run into, is the drive home if you’re working in Science Park. You have to leave by 5, if you don’t want to spend 40 mins taking a 11 min trip.

The hotel is a really outdated. The breakfast has many choices but half of the dishes were not heated well. The room was really stuffy even when I turned the air conditioner to 16C. A bit disappointed in the condition of the hotel.

Room was better in the past

Carlton used to be quite good condition years back when I stayed. Unfortunately, this time I feel the condition was kinda old, don’t seems to be well maintained. Hygiene wish is acceptable though, and the service by staff are still good and friendly.

I was on a 2 weeks trip in taiwan, this is my 4th hotel stayed & the most uncomfortable hotel. The bed mattress was very hard, backache after 2 nights. During checked in, the staff was very impatient with us. Hotel do not have carpark, public carpark was about 10 mins walk from hotel.

新竹に滞在する際に何度か利用しています。設備は少し古い感じで、シャワーが熱水のハンドルと冷水のハンドルを自分で調整してうまい具合の温度にするタイプなのが少し不便を感じましたが、特に問題というほどでもないです。ウォシュレットはTOTOの新しいものがついていました。ベットが結構固めだったのですが、私は堅めのベットが好きなのでここはプラス点。また、ベットのブランケットがマットレスに挟みこまれていないところも良いと思いました。（私はブランケットとシーツがマットレスに挟みこまれてピッチピチになっているのがあまり好きではないので。）朝食は付いていないプランだったので朝食の評価はしません。

1）住在七樓房間，舖了塑膠地板，但地板下高低不平，實在太明顯了。 2）房門口的 請勿打擾 燈光號誌非常不明顯，出門前特別交代櫃檯不用打掃。但晚上回到房間是有人進來整理過了。 3）冷氣很冷，即使設定26度，室內溫度都是21度。 4）整體而言，還是很乾淨清潔的住宿環境。不錯。

所住房間空間寬敞，所附桌子、椅子不錯但是椅子坐起來略低和桌子高度不太符合，另外電源孔太少且也沒有三孔可用，電源插座雖有USB插孔，但有TypeC插孔的話就更好了。
