「The goods: the lady let us check in 1 hr earlier, the property was cleaned and well maintained. The horse farm is very nice and the horses are super friendly and cute. 「The property was worn on the outlook, seems being deserted for a long time. There was no hot water in the room and there was no heater in the communal washroom and communal shower! There was no shampoo and shower gel provided in the shower. There was no hairdryer in the room, not to mention any lotions or cups for brushing teeth!! 「A beautiful hotel and setting with great amenities. We did the e-mountain biking and guided hike, which were lovely - the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Given that the hotel is remote and there are no food options, the restaurant and food was very expensive (but good). The baths were very nice. The room was comfortable but VERY HOT (this is not unique to this hotel, but a thing at all Iceland hotels we visited). Staying up at Highland Base was a highlight of your trip to Iceland.」
