It was always warm (something which we considered before booking it for our December stay) and we felt at home right away. Beds were clean and comfortable. 「We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!」

「Lovely cottage with all the amenities that we required. Situated in a quiet village within close proximity of Penrith. Nice welcome box with tea, coffee etc and even treats for the dog. Good offroad parking at the back of the cottage and an enclosed front garden. Stayed for a week, excellent location for exploring Hadrians wall, lake district and yorkshire dales. 」
