Besides the property needs some upgrades and bug spray because they do have roaches here and there. The staff was pretty nice and it was pretty quiet.

All of the minimum requirements the staff was able to do very very well. However, I couldn't ignore the fact that it was extremely guetto, a pretty old building (possibly not built well), and that those are possible reasons why the hotel has changed management at least once in the past.

It's just fine. I've stayed here before. Haven't had really any of the problems that I see in there some of the reviews. Usually I would blame that on the maid who didn't clean the room so I would continue to stay here. I like the balcony rooms in the fresh air, and definitely a value when you're laying over a flight for 12 hours no one wants to spend $300 for a hotel room

Great value safe hotel. Will stay again.

Great price was surprisingly quiet and felt safe. Appreciated the gated parking for my car. Been to other inexpensive hotels in Houston and this was the best. The room was big comfortable AC worked. Had a fridge snd microwave. Service desk was nice and helped me figure out the tv channels to watch ESPN. The towels were surprisingly soft. Only minor thing was I saw a cockroach but thats all Houston even the expensive downtown hotels.

The airport shuttle has to be booked a day in advance. We stayed due to a last minute flight cancellation so got a taxi to the airport as the shuttle wasn’t available. This wasn’t made clear on the website. The lock to our room didn’t work. The room smelt of mold and actually had visible mold on the ceiling. However the staff were pleasant and good to deal with.

Our stay was ok. The room had a humid and funny odor the entire time. Almost like the floor was wet so we didn’t feel comfortable walking with no shoes. There were dead roaches in the room. The breakfast was great and staff ok for the most part. But it was noisy with rude people, and really busy at night. Would not recommend. Never received my deposit back. Won’t be staying here again.

Don't let the pictures trick you, they must be frim when the place opened cause like the picture make a look like a humble but still fresh experience. But its actually so outdated and the place smells damp and almost moldy like when you haven't cleaned the fridge in a while. There ia only one wlevayor and it was broken.The ac took forever to kick in and weren't consistent. The shower floor had some kind of vinyl piece glued in the tub and it kept getting filled with water. Overall the place seemed to be falling apart. The staff was friendly and helpful, honestly if your just planning to sleep and shower and spend the rest of your time out on the streets its not a bad option but if you wanna chill and relax at the hotel its not the best

Worse than I expected

The room had a terrible old wet smell to it. The beds were uncomfortable and kind of small and not enough pillows. The overall condition of the building was pretty bad and the only ice machine they have wasn't working. Only good thing I can say was that the people working in the front desk had great customer service and knew how to communicate very well. But just the conditions of the hotel overall were worse than I expected and the smell of the room was overwhelming and unpleasant.
