"The room was not clean or wiped down by the time we arrived. We arrived close to 5:00 P.M. And our check in was at 4:00 p.m., but yet our room was still not prepared. There was a bug in the mini-fridge, none of the surfaces were wiped down, the shower head was disconnected, there was no hand soap, and an empty toilet paper roll was left the bathroom. There were stairs on the floor and surfaces. We were also given a handicap accessible room without booking one forcing us into one of the exterior rooms. We asked about possibility of switching rooms but we were informed no rooms were available to switch to. Lisa was friendly at the front desk but beyond that the stay was pretty poor."

"Enjoyed staying here while adventuring in the Custer state park area. Staff was friendly, continental breakfast was tasty and my room met my needs. The carpet in the common areas like the stairwell looked a little well loved from winter. My room was clean and the dinner recommendations from the staff were on point!"

"The tents are lovely, but if the weather isn’t good, it’s incredibly cold & the small stoves they use for heat are not sufficient, the staff does not help to build fires and are not vigilant about helping."

"Well, you can tell they are in the middle of remodeling/updating…so it should look nicer when it is done as things look pretty well worn. Pool was unavailable for use at this time, though hot tub was available. Had I known they were fixing up, I would have chosen a different property in Hot Springs. It is a 2 star property… towels are on the thin side but our room was clean and the area quiet. I didn’t try the complementary breakfast…my spouse said it was very limited. We did get breakfast one morning at the attached cafe and it was great! Truly like a home cooked meal. All staff we met were kind and helpful."

"Everything about our stay was great. The room was fantastic. The location was perfect. The mountains are all around you. The lady at the front desk was great. She was very helpful and had personality. I wish I would of gotten her name. We are planning on staying there next year as well."
