"Lovely room and amazing shower. A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. Comfortable bed but I didn’t sleep well due to the light issue unfortunately "

"We stayed over following a wedding in Basingstoke. The Hotel was cheaper than a Travel lodge and certainly better than the aforementioned. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were excellent, polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you for a great stay. "

"Travelling for work I booked a single room for less than the local Travelodge. The grounds and main hotel are lovely and it was a delight to see the deer, ducks and other wildlife on the grounds. The room itself was away from the main building but was recently decorated, clean and welcoming. The tea and coffee was plentiful and there were even mini toiletries which many places dont have anymore. "Very noisy front room, woken up every time a car passed. Breakfast was very small and not given choice of white or brown toast, had to ask for everything sugar, tea spoon, salt etc (when I could track down someone!)."
