"Great place for family with kids. Convenient location, hotel is in a building that houses a mini shopping mall and food court, with a MRT station directly underground in the same building. Several public buses stops right in front of the building too (with one directly from the popular Mitsui Outlet Mall in Linkou). There's also a 24/7 mini convenience store on the 1st floor outside of the building with another one and WATSON'S just a half block away. Couple of breakfasts places within walking distance as well. It's also a quick MRT ride to Shilin Night Market. Hotel is quiet, the rooms were spacious, beds were comfy, and the rooms were very clean. The staff were also nice and helpful. They helped us booked reservations at a popular restaurant, some DIY workshops, and arranged a flat rate car ride to the airport ($1000 NTD). Would recommend!👍"

"My girlfriend and I stayed for our first two nights in Taiwan at The Gaia Hotel and we had a very relaxing time. The staff is amazing and very attentive, the facilities are great and clean and the rooms are very nice. We loved that the hot spring water was piped into a tub in our bathroom for our own private soak. It’s very conveniently located and there’s many little food spots within walking distance or a short uber ride. Also within walking distance is a nice park and library. Definitely recommend staying at the Gaia to relax either at the start of your trip or end."

"Staff was incredible and extremely courteous and helpful. I recommend this resort, especially during winter season, it still offers a wonderful view of the City, even in the fog and rain. I also recommend more than a night's stay, so you can try the different breakfast styles, restaurants, or take the shuttle into xinbeitou to experience local Taiwanese markets.
