「Nice place to stay at. No complaints 」

「Reserved a room. Got there, no room available because the night before there was a party and rooms were never cleaned. Front desk clerk was nonchalant about, wouldn't call the manager for me and threatened to call police if I didnt leave. Rude and inconsiderate. I was 3 hrs from home had no idea where the closest hotel was, it was 8pm and raining. No suggestions from her, just a "I'm really sorry there is nothing I can do". This happened to the man who came in b4 me also, and he had 2 rooms...

「This was our third time staying at this location. The first two stays were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. During the third stay after checking in, our room smelled heavily of cigarettes, especially the bathroom. The pillows had hair on them underneath the pillow cases, and there was hair on the toilet seat and around the interior of the bowl. To my understanding the property interior is smoke free. The front desk also said they are smoke free and that there should not be any smoke...

「I find it hard to believe that a shelf in my room hadn't been cleaned for weeks maybe longer. Not sure I'm ever going to use a Marriott property again.. I said something to the guy at the front desk and nothing but crickets??? He didn't charge me parking fee after spending 2 night only because I asked him for the credit. Very disappointed and I am retired and moving around the country, not staying at the Marriott!!!!」

「The motel was an older one that the current owners did not bother to upgrade the rooms. The room & bathroom had damaged walls, stains on the walls and tiles, areas where something on the walls or furniture was either removed or broken but never replaced or repaired. The room phone was not plugged nor worked when I plugged it in to the wall phone jack. I arrived too late to check and find other accommodations. I did not know the area. The TV remote needed new batteries. Remember I said there was...

「The rooms were filthy and the entry doors didn’t close the whole way. Non smoking rooms were filled with the smell of smoke. Couches were ripped and stained. I’ve never been to a hotel that was this dirty. I couldn’t even stay the night and they charged me for the room regardless.」
