"The room was clean, which is always the most important thing to me, and overall I got a great deal for the price. That being said, the hotel is definitely a little outdated. There are no vents in the bathroom, the plug for one of the lamps wouldn’t stay in the wall and kept causing the lamp to turn off, and there was a musty smell when you first walk into the hotel. The elevators were SO slow! 😂 I ended up taking the stairs down from the 5th floor almost every time, and even took them up a few times because waiting for the elevator was taking so long. Another small inconvenience was that you can’t call the front desk using the phone in the room. On the positive side, the breakfast bar was excellent! There was also a specialty coffee machine that made some really delicious coffee, which was definitely a highlight. Overall, I’d say you get what you pay for. The room was clean, the price was great, and the breakfast was excellent. While there are definitely some areas that could use updating, I’d still consider staying here again if I got another good deal."

"First off, I have to say the two staff members at the front desk at check-in and -out were some of the friendliest, most welcoming, helpful hotel personnel I've ever encountered. Truly, ever. I wouldn't even be writing this review if not for them. Give them a raise. The room was fine. Very accessible. Free parking and a short walk to the Metra, which was sooo awesome. There were a couple dirty towels left hanging in the bathroom though, which is our only real complaint that it seems like it wasn't fully cleaned before we arrived."

"This is a solid four star hotel for me. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. I think people should have realistic expectations when you stay at a place like this knowing that it’s not some high-end Hilton hotel but it’s a very reasonable lodging accommodation. The room is also surprisingly very quiet. I did not hear any next-door room noise while I was there which is a huge plus."

"The room was spacious and very clean. The housekeepers were very helpful with replacing toiletries and towels. The breakfast was sufficient with good choices so I didn't get bored eating it everyday. Overall 10/10."
