"Lobby leading to concierge for checking in looks bland and unadorned but we immediately knew there was renovation going on. We like the room -especially the view that showcases the Sierra Nevada range. We’re glad James Taylor’s concert was just held across the street- reason why we went. We also enjoyed eating at the Oyster Bar. Overall was a relaxing weekend away from home."

"Clean, well kept, self parking was easy, coffee shop was fantastic ! Overall a great place that we’ll stay at again. Not so great was the front desk staff. Both check in and check out, they were unfriendly, robotic and obviously could care less about their job. That was unfortunate as I expect much better"

"The place is nice enough, with the expected references to Jimmy Buffet, but my issues began with the check in. I expected to pay the typical “resort fee”but I was also informed of the $40 valet parking. I was told I could park next door at Harrah’s, but there was a 2 hour limit, etc. Besides that, there was no receipt to show me what my $122.10 was for. In the room, there is a hole in the sheet, the bed was sloppily made and there was a scrap of paper behind the night stand, of which I took pictures. When we checked out, I was informed a receipt would be sent to me by noon, which I have yet to see. Jimmy must be turning in his grave."
