「I was amazed by the service of a gentleman called Dave. I drove from London to attend a wedding and was going to spent 2 nights at this hotel. I got delayed by roadworks on A406 and M3. I called to ask whether my son could access my room. He had driven in 3 hours earlier with my sister. Dave kindly obliged and I really appreciated that. In addition he was very gracious and kind whe we finally arrived after midnight. The hotel was more than satisfactory for what we required. Parking was adequate....

「We had a lovely stay for a couple of nights while we saw family. We enjoyed a meal when we arrived on the Monday evening which was lovely but the portions were large. 「We’ve booked one night here at first, then we decided to go there one day before and booked one more day. We told the reception lady when we arrived check in, she said it’s ok, no need to do the check in again and we could stay in the same room. The next day at ten mins before ten, a housekeeper locked on our door and told us to check out. We’re surprised and told her our case, she told us to check with the reception. Then the reception said we’ve to check out and come back by 4 to check in...

「Convenient location in the middle of town but no parking facility..Public car parking 100 metres away. Bedroom noisy up to 23.00 due to karaoke in bar downstairs. Very friendly and attentive staff and food choice and quality was excellent - best barbecued ribs I have had in a long time. Well kept Real Ale.」
