「Beautiful view. Would have liked a mini fridge. Newquay just so-so but my view of the harbor made up for it. If I remember, it said to sit on your balcony and eat breakfast but their restaurant doesn’t serve breakfast, so that comment should be removed. I would recommend.」

「I’d read bad reviews after booking so I was very worried. But we got a basic, decent chalet in a good location. It was quiet and safe. It needs a deep clean, mould on curtains, and cobwebs everywhere, but everything else was very clean. It was fine for the price we paid. Sykes cottages manage this chalet, but it’s Atlantic Bays reception, and they won’t know anything about your booking. We hadn’t been told our chalet number so couldn’t go to it until I’d rung Sykes (who didn’t have it on their...

「Just not very good, reasonable price but not really budget or bargain, Great location next to the train, Great Western beach and Pub, Just not a very good hotel. The single room is tiny with a tiny bed and looks more like a student doss house. No air con, fan doesn't work, no lift to the 3rd floor. Staff often not available at all, has a chintzy looking restaurant in the front but no idea what or if they serve, so many better places to eat, or stay for that matter. Tired.」
