「We stayed in a modern, almost new 2 bed barn property in mid-May. The bathroom was well laid out and a selection of towels and toiletries were provided. The lounge was open plan, roomy and bright with a large openable slide door/window containing comfortable furniture; the kitchen area was perfectly adequate for traveller needs with a good selection of cutlery/crockery. 「This was our second visit to Fistral hotel and it was just as good this time as we remembered the first time. The food is always so good, the breakfast totally worth the price, the hotel itself is lovely, has a chilled vibe and perfect views of the beach. But most of all the staff are so attentive, nothing is too much trouble, everyone is so friendly & seem so happy to be there. Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in by far! Can’t wait to go back again !!!」

「We had a lovely stay,the staff were very friendly and helpful,food was very good and not too pricey. The only negative was that there was a constant humm coming from some machinery on the roof.the sea view room was fabulous and well worth the extra,don’t be put off by first impressions」

「Hotel was lovely, and staff were very friensly and attentive. Nreakfast was delcious, and again the staff were very quick. The room was really nice and a good size, the only downfall would be that we stayed on the 1st floor, and there was another room above, and due to age of the building it was very creaky. This woke us up every morning around 6am, and kept us up some evenings too. Hotel is great location, with an amazing view. 」

Little touches in the rooms, in the activities and throughout made it feel like the children were truly welcome and they had a wonderful time. The beach is so close and the borrow a beach toys box is genius and saves money and the environment. So much to do we were sad to come home and would definitely book again. 」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our three days at The Royal Duchy. The hotel is beautiful and every member of the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. 」

「Very pleasant stay. We arrived very late in the evening but our key was available form the bar. Very easy. Good sized room - quiet and not overlooked. Didn't have time to go to the gym or pool but looked good. Excellent breakfast with enough choice to suit most tastes. Minor issue that the carpark isaway from the main building so suggest drive to front door to deposit cases etc and then go and park car in car park (lots of space). Grounds seemed well maintained too.」

「Hotel was very conveniently located for my purposes and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. I only had drinks at the bar and breakfast but everything was very good. Only disappointment was my shower, as it was a multi head shower but the ‘rainfall’ standard overhead part didn’t work so I had to use the handheld head」

「The staff were amazing and very helpful. Even with the rain we managed to keep the children entertain with the pool and vast bar area where they run in circles. We got luck with parking but there seems to be parking available nearby. The Land train stop was right next to the hotel which takes you all the way to Fistral beach. The location is great with two beautiful beaches within 6min to 8 mins walk. 」

「Our room has the best view looking out to the beautiful Gyllngvase Beach and it is just around 8 mins walk to it. Nice breakfast and staff, room is clean and have everything you need. Town centre is also within walking distance.」
