"My fiancé and I took a last minute trip and this place was perfect. Freshly renovated, we booked the room with an open ceiling. I could tell it was newly remodeled just by looking and smelling. The nice young woman who I believe is the owner was very gracious and accommodating. It’s walking distance to old downtown which has plenty of restaurants. The parking lot can be a little tricky due to the design and space. I highly recommend this quaint inn and hope to make a return visit. "
"Melissa and Sage were excellent hosts. Food was great.room was clean and well maintained. Outstanding bargain. We will most certainly stay there again."
"It’s great when you can support an independent motel instead of the big chains. We enjoyed a clean comfortable shower and sleep in a comfortable very well kept little motel. The a/c was wonderful, cool, with a steady sound that never awakened me the way the ones at too many other hotels have on our cross country trip. "

"This is my favorite place to stay in Grass Valley. It's quiet, clean, updated, and comfortable. The staff is great, pool is great, and the breakfast/ evening snacks are outstanding!"
"I stayed in Daphne, a cute single room. Perfect for just me and one night. Very clean, plenty spacious. My only complaint was that it was very bright in the room all-night due to lights outside & curtains that werent black out. "
"What a hidden gem, and such a value! And the Monte Vista restaurant a mile away is some of the best food I’ve ever had, from the New England clam chowder and crab cakes to the savory prime rib and the Carmel popcorn cheesecake!"
"This property is really a hidden gem of a hotel. The rates are very reasonable and the area around the hotel is beautiful. The property even has a natural waterfall and a fern grotto which is extraordinary. The rooms are older but very clean and well maintained. Also the beds are very comfortable. The room also has a small refrigerator and microwave.
All in all this is a place you should really consider. I know i would definitely come back.
