「The concept of southern hospitality doesn’t exist at this Inn. We expected a charming, welcoming and cozy stay. We received a rude staff - unfriendly greeting, and certainly nothing cozy. The room smelled of musty mold. Breakfast was good- but no Diet Coke? - the shower was like a skating rink, pet stained rug in the room and the bed was so small my husband’s feet hung over by a foot. The worse was that they messaged me after the stay asking for tips for the staff and I responded with a similar...

「The location of the property was good. Short walk to the beach, 5 minute drive to restaurants. Carpets were dirty. Room was small with a double bed that had a very soft mattress. I sank in at least 8 inches and had to sleep on the floor. The shower was very tiny. Multiple porches to sit on but no ocean view. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, but the innkeeper was from Scotland and talked about America and Americans as subpar. If you are a “peasant” like us, the hotel next door has better...

「The McMillan in is absolutely beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable yet held many antiques and furnishings that reflected the Victorian era. The dining and living rooms were especially pretty. The hosts were extremely welcoming and breakfast was delicious. The neighborhood was quiet and we could walk everywhere. I would definitely go back again.」

「great location! excellent gourmet breakfast. well appointed modern first floor room. would highly recommend!」

「We had an excellent couple of nights at this beautiful bed-and-breakfast. It’s conveniently located near Forsyth Park and the trolley line. We pretty much walked everywhere including down to the river. We had wonderful meals out and we also had amazing meals at the bed-and-breakfast. We especially enjoyed our encounters with Larry the chef. He was so pleasant and personable. And his food was delicious. I didn’t catch the gal who cooked this morning, but her breakfast was incredible. Some of the...

「another morning we asked for towels when we went out for the day and was told the room was full service so they would be replaced, when we returned in the late afternoon no towels so we asked again and they brought towels. the next morning I told the desk clerk that the room hasn't been cleaned since we arrived, that day it was cleaned but no toilet paper or washcloths. Out of 5 days stay our room was cleaned the last 2 days. Breakfast was nice but children size portions and no seconds. It is...

「The room was great, bathroom is on the small side, but expected in a place like that. Breakfast was great and check in/check out was a breeze. The only complaint was that the TV couldn't connect to anything. Don't know if it was my inexperience with that type of tv/internet/provider or what, but i found a way around it. Overall, great experience.」
