Ocean House Hotel & Motel

"The room is very old, with paint touching up what was once wood panelling. My kid found someone’s stick on nail on the floor when we arrived. The room above leaked water into the ceiling leaving staining when they used their shower. There was a hole in the bathroom floor my kid cut their foot on. First impressions was slightly low but everything worked. The beds were absolutely awful. We opted to sleep on an air mattress on the floor they were so poor. A room for 6 people had 2 steak knives, 3 forks, 2 spoons. The parking was easy and close to the room, the sea view pool was awesome. Location to the beach couldn’t be beat. BBQ’s available to cook with propane provided. Staff were so helpful and provided everything we needed during our stay. The room with some proper updating could be an absolutely amazing place. I would return, as this seems to be the general state of all the places on the beach but next time would fully be aware of what I was getting for the price I paid."

"Kinda stumbled upon this place when looking for a place to stay in Maine, close to Portland. I was impressed with this property especially after reading the negative reviews. This place is charming, clean and a prime location. We would.love to return to this Inn again someday. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place that feels cozy and has character"

"Very clean. Staff was very friendly. Beach was a one min walk from our door. Amusement park & town center was also just a quick walk away. Plenty of coffee and breakfast places nearby. Loud train did go by every few hours but didn’t bother us personally. Would stay here again for sure!"
