「Our host, Olga, made our experience an excellent one. It is a beautiful home and well maintained. Even though the house was fully booked with other guests, everyone was respectful. Olga makes great breakfast, which we love.」

「The room was small but comfortable. The bed was too soft, but that's just me. I prefer a much firmer than average mattress. Having the diner right on site was great. The service was awesome & the breakfast delicious. I'd have no problem staying here again, or even just coming to eat.」

「We had a wonderful stay! The innkeepers were so friendly and helpful. It was fun to learn the history of the house, especially since the were so into the history. Donnie is an excellent chef and made a wonderful breakfast for us. We were only there for one night since we were visiting our son and he only had one day off. We would definitely recommend as a place to stay for one night, or much longer. Charles Town was a cool place to visit and there are several towns around with fun downtown...

「Where to start? With the welcome packet hanging on the door. My husband and I approached the Inn on the afternoon of May 31, 2026. On the door, we found a welcome packet with a page inside directed to "Expedia Guest." A copy of this is attached. In the attached note, Mark introduced himself and then started complaining about Expedia. In the fourth paragraph of the note, he days the commission Expedia takes "makes it tough for small inns like ours." In the fifth paragraph, I kid you not,...

「Minimal staff. Food left in fridge from other guests. Half a roll of paper in the washroom. The breakfast was good and included. Staff at front desk was helpful and responsive.」

「Great location. Staff is very nice. A short walk to the casino/races. Shuttle is available but we’ve never used it. We’ve stayed here multiple times-always a great experience.」

「Kara was rude upon questioning why my card was charged prior to arrival. Room smelled like mildew. No coffee at breakfast...jug empty at 9am. Overall bad experience, definitely will seek other options next time around.」
