「A wonderful hotel well positioned in Hexham and as a base for exploring the surrounding area. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast consisted of a buffet selection and items cooked to order and was very tasty. Parking in the hotel car park was limited, but there is plenty of on street parking, which requires a token from the hotel.」

A jar of a variety shortbread biscuits was a surprise along with an extremely varied options for hot drinks, i.e. Horlicks. A bowl of fruit was also an unexpected delight. The bathroom was well appointed, with shampoo, soap etc in pump pots. The bed itself was supremely comfortable with more than sufficient coverings. A large fan completed the array of convenience items, really handy with recent weather...
