「Excellent location with a lovely sea view from my room. Would definitely stay there again. Only improvement perhaps would be to have curtains in the room. Only had a Venetian blind that allowed the sun through st 5am in the morning. 」

「A clean, well-run place. I booked at the last minute, so the email with information on accessing the place was sent by email while I was on the train. Wifi on the train was non-existent, so I had difficulty downloading the information, so I rang the landlord, who was extremely helpful. 」

「Clean very basic but did the job. You get what you pay for so for the cheap rate paid it was a good value budget hotel that was clean with friendly staff. They are in the process of refurbishment.」

「There was no clear indication of how we accessed the property. Despite trying to communicate with the owner, there was no response. We had to just turn up and hope for the best. Luckily, after getting to the pod, the key was there and the stay was good. It has everything you need and is in a great location. 」

Check inn was quick and easy and entrance to hotel is actually separate to the adjacent pub which was great as we wasn't disturbed by any noise from the revellers on a weekend! 「Hi we stayed at Guesthouse 42 for one night as we were in Margate for a concert in Dreamland. This Guesthouse is in a brilliant location for everything in Margate. The rooftop bar gives an impressive view of the beach and harbor. The rooms are very well presented with a fridge, hair dryers, clothes steamer, tea and coffee machines, safe etc. Complimentary toiletries smell great.
