"Was able to check-in an hour earlier even on a very busy hotel weekend. Stayed in ground floor room very accessible to vehicle. Didn’t use and of the amenities. Power outage overnight so no hot meal. Room was clean but dated. Large TV. Loved the shower and body wash. Would stay here again."

"I requested a ground floor room due to difficulty walking and the staff was able to accommodate this. Ground floor is used for guests with pets which may account for a strong (distinct but not unpleasant) scent in the room. The room was fine, the bed comfortable but the carpet was starting to unravel by the bathroom door. The room was well sound proofed-Hwy 1 was very close & clearly heard outside but not inside-kudos for this. Standard breakfast foods, no complaints."

"Right from check in we were very pleased with this hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, hallways and lobby area. Breakfast was perfect as well with lots of options for everyone."

"I have stayed at this Coast hotel many times in the past and it is consistently clean and quiet. Great location, especially when travelling the Trans Canada highway. Note that the breakfast is now $5 per person, but very lovely and filling. Bravo. Would recommend and look forward to staying here again."

"Just one complain. The hardest mattress I ever slept on. The same goes for the pillow. But the real hammer was the simply overpowering awful smell of the bed sheet and pillow. I strongly suggest they change the detergent. After a long day on the road I was just to tired to say something about that to the staff. Another room would probably not helped since most likely all the rooms had the same smell. I just left the room door open until going to bed and then holding my nose till I fell asleep."
