「A one night stopover on the way back from our holiday. We've stayed here before and were impressed with our room. This time we were in some recently added accommodation, The Stable, and we'd have preferred to be in the main building. The room was fine but since there were others walking past the window, the blind had to be down, so it was either dark, or electric light. We could see into others' rooms as we left. 「We were on a 3 week tour of England researching our family roots and history. We were purposely looking for stays in smaller villages/towns. This fit the bill perfectly. Our bedroom was comfortable, the shower hot and the food delicious. The staff couldn’t have been nicer - my wife even felt like maybe we had found long lost family. 」

「Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation.」
