"Everything was very clean, staff was very friendly, and breakfast had good options."

"We stayed one night while traveling thru Indiana. This hotel was clean, comfortable, conveniently located just off I-70 and close to many restaurants. We had limited interaction with staff members, but they were courteous and pleasant. Our only complaint was with the walk-in shower. It is somewhat narrow and long and you can't turn the water on without completely walking in, as there is no sliding door to allow access to the water on/off handle. Because there is no moveable door, water sprays and splashes onto the floor outside the back of the shower. It's just a very poor design. Also, the water temp started out at a moderately hot level, but seemed to cool off after a few minutes."

" Breakfast had great options that changed daily. Bacon would have been a nice choice, but maybe we just did not hit those days. Sausage patties could have been cooked more crispy but that was minor. The pool was a little chilly but we managed. The towels for the pool are TINY. The rooms had thin walls and we could hear the neighbor talking quite clearly. HOWEVER, staff was VERY helpful & pleasant! They went above and beyond and remembered personal details we had shared (questions we had asked) and followed up when we were checking out. Hotel was in a great location with lots of restaurant choices nearby. Even though we were near the highway & airport (and stayed on the 3rd floor) we heard no outside noise- good job! The lobby and common areas were very clean and smelled great. One of my pet peeves when I travel alone is when a hotel employee announces my room number out loud when handing me my room key. (then anyone within ear shot knows) NOT HERE! The lobby was empty upon check in, but the person at the front desk was very conscious to show me the number, but not share out loud. THANK YOU- it is those seemingly small details that matter to guests. If traveling nearby again we would surely choose to stay here again. "

"Indoor Pool was perfect during an 18 deg day with snow outside. Sauna was closed and not working. Pool room was warm - enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was typical hotel quality - scrambled eggs had a bad smelled - did not eat. Had fruit instead. Coffee machine was ok - drove to Starbucks and car in front paid for my coffee. Very kind people in the area. Overall the hotel stay was very good."

"Our toilet didn't work upon check in. We were in a rush to get to our concert so we decided to let staff know about it when we got back. We were handed a plunger and told that would probably fix it. We explained to the front desk that we were sure a plunger wasnt goint to fix it, but we were written off. After the plunger didn't work(surprise surprise), we called the desk again. We were told maintenance wouldnt he in till morning and that the only thing they could offer was a king room. We had booked a double bed room for a reason. I explained that to the staff and was told that they offered a solution. Basically, we were stuck until morning to use the toilet in the lobby. Come morning, we find out that our issue wasn't even passed along to the day shift. We had gone down to ask them when maintenance would be available. We were told they would be up at 900. We left for our day a little after 900 and they hadn't been up yet. When we got back to our room later that day(around 500), the toilet still didn't work. I again went down to the desk at whcih time a different gentleman was very helpful. He got us in a different room with working facilities. It was somewhat of an inconvenience bc we were in a rush to get changed and ready for a show that evening, however, we were finally just happy to have a working toilet!"
