"My experience was awful! When I got there the man at the front counter was so belligerent and disrespectful I was absolutely astonished by his behavior! I tried to show him my confirmation number and my reservation number and he grabbed my phone out of my hand and slammed it down on the counter and was screaming at me telling me that there was nothing under my name when I was trying to respectfully show him that I had already paid for my room. He pointed his finger in my face was screaming at me telling me to get out of his hotel to not come back I tried to get a refund and I never got my money back I will never ever stay at a Wyndham Hotel again especially one that is ran by someone from India and I have never been one that has been racist or discriminatory of any race or religion in my life! I cannot believe that they are hiring such people that are so disrespectful to work for them. He called me all kinds of nasty names was cussing at me his wife I'm assuming came out told us to leave I told them I had never been so disrespected by a hotel staff in my life I even tried to show her calmly my reservation number and everything told her that he had grabbed my phone out of my hand and slammed it down on the counter and she still sided with him I told her to run back the video camera tapes and she refused she told me to leave and to get off of the property."
"The bedding seemed clean. The shower looked like it was washed down with a rag covered in short black hair. The toilet wobbled. The breakfast they serve was for 1 out of 2 of our mornings and it was frozen breakfast food piled up in a to go box. There was a microwave to heat it up. No stir sticks/straws for the coffee. Given the lack of hot breakfast service and the unclean bathroom the price per night could be less."
"The bed and pillows were the best I've ever slept upon.
Breakfast selection good with hot and cold options (however the hot food was lukewarm sadly), juice and fruit.
It was a good value.
My only complaint would be that the carpet on the stairs was filthy and in disrepair and there were cardboard boxes with supplies on the floor in guest areas. Also, the hardware in the bathroom was in disrepair, and the corners in the bathroom were cruddy with old dust and dirt. It was just esthetically disgusting. But...the bed...primo...chef's kiss"
"The hotel smells wonderful when you first enter the lobby. The staff is friendly, helpful and prompt. The rooms are clean, the water is hot in shower and beds are comfortable. Pool is nice especially if you have children with you .
If I had one thing that could use improvement is the
Bacon it is a little thin.
I recommend this Quality Inn for your stay in west Plains.Easy access, centrally located and next door to delicious Coffee, pastry , sandwich shop."
"This was the worst place we have ever stayed in! The place smelled very musty. One light switch diod not work. The vanity light switch worked every third try. The tub did not drain. The pop up drain was missing from the bathroom sink. The beds creaked loudly and were well worn. The towels were stained. Breakfast was horrible. Do noit stay here! "
"Shower barely worked and wouldn’t turn off, hole in wall where air conditioner? Unit used to be had a pillow stuffed in it. Insulation, i guess. The view was nice though. And when I could actually reach the staff, he was nice."
