Luxury entertaining cruise

Lovely cruise ,the room was amazing with alot of big windows and big balcony.. The staff were amazing with us and our kids.. Full activities ,no time to get bored or hungry..The food was delicious but the dinner was expectionally tasty..

Absolutely pleasant experience

The stay was absolutely pleasant. The room was very big and spacious, very clean and well prepared. The staff were also amazing. My children did not like the food on the menu and staff went the extra mile and made them what they wanted.

I was really looking forward to this experience and was quite underwhelmed. There were tons of rubbish floating in the bay, and I know it's not the organisers fault but, it hindered our experience. There is no way you can go and swim in the water as one of the activities planner suggest. Also all of the other activities are planned at exactly the same time, not sure why, as other boats making it crowded super turisty and not very pleasant. The rooms themselves were spacious and clean and all the stuff lovely. No complaints there. It's also great to wake up with a view of the rocks shooting down from the ocean (just don't look down). Food, I'm 50/50 about. The dinner was good, not great, lunch and breakfast underwhelming again. Desert I suggest fruit only. My friend ordered a coffee that we had to pay a fortune for and it looked and tasted like dish water. Vietnam has so much delicious food on offer and what was served was pretty pedestrian. Everything on board was ridiculously expensive. Massage, drinks, snacks. I would suggest bringing that with you. Overall I guess it's one of those must do in Vietnam but for the price we paid for one night stay I can't say it was worth it.

Here's a friendly yet honest review of the Halong Cruise experience: "Mixed feelings about our Halong Bay cruise - the good, the not-so-good, and some tips for future travelers The journey started well with a comfortable, modern bus transfer to the marina. The ferry captain who took us to our final boat was skilled and provided a smooth ride. However, several aspects of the experience didn't quite meet the 5-star standard the company claims. The check-in process could use some polishing - staff weren't uniformed, and there was quite a bit of shouting among the luggage handlers. Be prepared for a rather lengthy transfer process (about an hour) before reaching your actual cruise boat, including a curious life jacket checkpoint along the way. Important tip for booking: Some rooms on the first deck might have their balcony views blocked by a support boat that remains attached throughout the journey - definitely worth checking this when selecting your room! The accommodation had some issues - slow-filling bathtub that needed cleaning before use, and even the presidential suite guests mentioned having no hot water. The WiFi was reportedly unavailable due to the remote location, though we could see other boats' networks. Dining experience could be enhanced - the food was acceptable, but the atmosphere was frequently disrupted by noisy plate clearing. The staff conducted accounting work in the breakfast area, which felt out of place for a luxury cruise. I do not recommend it.
