Overall the room was comfortable and clean. The location was fantastic and convenient with many restaurants and cafes nearby and a short walk to the majestic Halong Bay waterfront. The safe and TV were not working. We were issued only one door card which was rather inconvenient as there were 2 of us - the hotel staff said that’s their policy. The room could do with better sound proofing- there was almost incessant traffic noise and honking even late into the night.

I paid the price of a hotel for a homestay. The hotel is very informal. Reception was friendly but staff have no uniform. The hotel owner's family was using the lobby as their dinning room. (They were grilling squid and smoking cigarettes.) The whole place smells like food all the time. Rooms are spacious but amenties are very basic. The drainage in the shower is a complete failure. I had to stop shower to wait for water to drain. Floor is very greasy. The area is relatively new with lots of dinning options. I would stay at Ha Long city next time to save commute time and be closer to the marina/ferry port.

Hôtel super sympa très belle chambre avec un très grand lit et une bonne literie, un accueil super sympa tout le monde est aux petits soins avec vous , vous avez l’impression de faire partie de la famille, il y a même un jeune réceptionniste qui parle 3 mots de Français, bien placé en plein centre avec de quoi manger ou boire un coup à pied la plage un peu loin mais faisable à pied aussi , une location de scooter à petit prix est disponible pour ne pas se casser la tête.. Pour résumer pour c’est l’hôtel qu il faut choisir vu le rapport qualité prix , bon allant une petite critique la vue de la chambre par terrible mais on s’en fou c est pour dormir…
