「This is an older facility. It was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Furniture is used and dated. The setting is pretty with lawns and places to sit outside and a fire pit.」

「This hotel has not been updated for at least 20 years. Stayed here 20 years ago. It is now one or two star dirty halls, dirty carpets even dirty rooms. We had a desk in our room that hardly allowed enough room between the wall and the desk to get to our beds. Showers are showing age sinks are missing parts and overall just a dismal experience would not recommend staying here ever again.」

Firstly, the bed is wrinkled, which gives the impression that someone has slept on it before, although the quilt looks new. Secondly, the bottom of the swimming pool appears dirty, making it impossible to determine whether the water is clean or dirty.」

The staff is friendly, rooms are clean, and the breakfast is a simple, tasty spread of coffee, tea, pastries, breakfast burritos, yogurt, and cereal. The beds are cozy and the location is perfect for a mix of hiking, skiing, bike riding all over CB. While we would typically camp in this area, the weather in the off-season can be unpredictable, so the Nordic is a great, no-frills...
