All staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved the breakfast buffet and the Spa area. Fatima at the front desk was especially helpful and genuine!!

We were looking for a smaller hotel with a traditional Schwarzwald flair in a beautiful location, and this fit the bill perfectly! This is an old house, but entirely up to modern standards inside, with a friendly staff and warm feel. The room was cozy, looking out on the quiet main plaza with its church. We had dinner twice in the excellent restaurant. Breakfast was great - don't forget to make yourself fresh juice or even get eggs to order. There was even a small swimming pool, sauna, a...

We LOVED our stay at Hotel Hochfirst overall. What might be news to international travelers is that many hotels in Germany don't do housekeeping daily. The Hotel Hochfirst has a hy

It's a very good base for walking in the area, though the lake is not as pretty as Titisee up the road. Parking was easy, luckily, but they also give you a pass while you're there and you can take the train wherever you want. If you have a dog, the facilities are good and they were very kind. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was cozy and clean and the property was fairly central to everything we wanted to do in the Hoch Schwarzwald.

Breakfast was superior with vegan options

Great hotel close to the city center. Rooms were very clean and the breakfast was delicious!

This is an amazing property out in the country. We loved the spacious rooms and the breakfast!!

Service

Breakfast was wonderful

Lovely hotel and very spacious! The staff are very friendly.

Wonderful family owned traditional hotel with excellent restaurant.

It was magical, whimsical and wonderful every step of the way. We couldn't complain about a thing! The staff was so kind and friendly and fun. The sad thing was that we had to leave . You must stay there if your in the Black Forest:)

There is a beautiful hiking trail right by the hotel. Good souvenir stores right next to hotel. My daughter had her birthday while we were there and the staff ordered her a Black Forest birthday cake and decorated the table for her. I was very impressed with their service to help make this a memorable day for my daughter.
