Needs updating and beds are not the best. Plenty of hot water.. great location and quick access to the beach via walking by Bahama Bobs…they have free ice in the lobby and laundry facilities. Definitely recommend!

The room and staff was very nice. The whole outside of the building just needs a paint job as this is an older hotel, not like all the new ones on the beach. But had the best price and only walk one block to the beach acrosss the street. For the price was best for me.

We had a great time staying at Beachside Resort Hotel in Gulf Shores. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and directly across from our favorite restaurant, Bahama Bob’s. The hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a clean and comfortable queen room. The staff was friendly, and the convenience of being close to both the beach and great dining made our trip even better. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gulf Shores!

The hotel was in a great location, and the large fridge and microwave were great. However,the property was not in great shape, and the entire building smelled of damp mildew. I used dry cleaner sheets, and lysol wipes to freshen up my room, but even then, all my clothes smelled mildew when I returned home. If you don't have any breathing issues it's not bad. I loved the proximity to the beach...just across the street!

The location is GREAT! It is a simple, older beachside motel and you shouldn’t book this one for the flashy amenities- because there aren’t any. BUT the parking was plentiful and easy to use, the walk to the beach was only a few minutes, I felt safe the entire time and the employees are wonderful! The full size fridge in the room was great, too! A few tips that made our stay better - there is very limited drawer or storage space in the room so we grabbed hangers at Walmart and that helped a ton! Our room only had a single hanger when we checked in Also - there is only 1 ice machine for the entire property and you cannot fill coolers. We grabbed some ice trays and made ice in our room freezer and that worked great! Overall it was a great stay and I would go again!

Had a great time at the Beachside Resort Hotel! Make no mistake, it is a budget hotel but the staff was incredibly friendly and we were right across from the beach and able to walk to various restaurants as well.
