"This place is incredible!! My sibling and I showed up exhausted and cold and were given prime princess treatment as soon as we walked in. The staff took our luggage and shoes and gave us tea and yukatas. Everybody was dressed in traditional Japanese attire and the lobby is gorgeous and full of activities and places to relax. There were games and crafts and free sale!! Our room was also amazing with tatami floors and futons. It came with everything we needed plus extra goodies from the staff. The AC was a little bit finicky but that was probably our fault.
I think the only aspect of our stay that I think could use improvement is the bath house. This was my first time using one, so I don’t know if this is normal, but the water was not as clean as I’d hoped. Maybe because guests weren’t washing off properly before using it, or letting their hair down? There were signs stating the rules right outside, so I’m not sure what happened. I do wish there was another sign or explanation from the staff about where to put your belongings, because I was a bit confused until another guest kindly helped me out. Other than that, the bath was so beautiful and calming. A really great first experience!
The surrounding area was nice too! Easy transportation and tons of great restaurants. Definitely pay a visit to Rinrin cafe nearby! The owners are the sweetest people ever and make amazing food!!
