「Late in the afternoon while driving cross country we realised we needed a place to stay for the night. We picked des Alpes more or less by chance. And what a gem we found. It is not big. On the contrary. Not only did this smaller property look like a dream chalet, the hosts made us feel like we were welcomed to a cozy home instead of a hotel as they asked if we "wanted to join them for dinner". The rooms are stylish with very comfy beds and a nice terrace/balcony. The lobby with the fireplace...
