「Weekend away with the other half. Overall good hotel and well worth the money. Staff all very friendly and good breakfast. Halls and the room were especially hot at night, not sure if just a malfunction with the heating! Parking situation was a little frustrating as the listing says ‘first come first served’ but when we arrived several spaces had been reserved for people who booked ahead so we paid for the car park down the road. 」

The reception staff were always helpful (Debbie). We had a truly wonderful experience in a large and clean lodge. Minutes walk from the beach. 「The room was well equipped and very clean. The Hotel was not fully open for the season and Breakfast was provided by the ‘Rising Sun’ ( sister inn). Which we were unaware of prior to arrival. 」

「Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations...

「The location was stunning. The owners were warm, friendly and very helpful. The evening menu was extensive and what we chose was delicious. There was a low carb, low GI meal available which was both welcome and extremely tasty. Breakfast was a feast and set us up for the day. Highly recommend this hotel.」
