Old abbey style hotel. Rooms in 70/80 style, clean and quite spacious.

Staff were very attentive and welcoming. Lovely building and dining room and bar were tastefully presented. Bed rooms were large and appropriately kitted out. There was some marks/wear on some of the carpets on the stairs and in the room and the pillows were not the most comfortable. However, overall an enjoyable stay within a convenient distance from Brussels etc.

Slight feel of faulty towers. Not a 4 star. The carpets are the most remarkably odd and deteriorated thing I've seen in a hotel for a whille; strange tinges of colours look about 10 years past their shelf life

Nous avons passé une nuit agréable dans cet hôtel. La chambre et la salle de bain sont très grandes. Le lit est large et douillet. Tout est prévu dans la chambre pour le confort des voyageurs. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et varié. Le personnel est aimable. Un grand parking est à disposition.

Kamer was erg warm, vooral gedurende de nacht. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt was van goede kwaliteit. Prijs prestatieverhouding van het gehele verblijf vonden wij goed.

Aussen TOP - innen FLOP

Von außen ein tolles gepflegtes Gebäude. Im Bereich des Restaurants und der Rezeption ist auch soweit alles okay. Wenn Sie jedoch den Hotelbereich betreten, geht es los. Fleckige, abgenutzte Teppiche. Im Zimmer war der Teppich durch Bleichemittel(?) fleckig auch war der Flor schon abgelaufen und nur noch das Gewebe sicht- und spürbar. Die Tapeten waren teilweise lose. Die Fugen der Fliesen im Bad dunkel verfärbt. Die Toilettenbürste bietet Lebensraum für alles mögliche, diese war wirklich ekelig. Hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und bemühte Personal.

Séjour en demi-teinte en raison du service

Week-end entre amis pour profiter des thermes à deux pas de l’hôtel : bonne situation à 2 pas du centre et de lieux calmes et boisés où se promener, courir ou faire du vélo. Le point négatif est le service à l’hôtel : nous avons été accueillis par une étudiante qui ne connaissait rien à l’établissement et incapable de nous renseigner sur les heures du petit-déjeuner, de check-out, du bar et autres. Chambre avec de nombreuses taches brunes sur la moquette au sol. Le matin, une seule personne qui doit gérer la réception et le petit-déjeuner : il n’y avait plus de pain, plus d’oeufs, ni de garnitures en suffisance. Il a fallu attendre 15’ pour remettre de l’eau dans la machine à café. Bref, service indigne d’un 4 étoiles (ni même de tout autre hôtel, d’ailleurs), même si le réceptionniste faisait de son mieux, mais seul pour tout gérer, c'était impossible. Il s’agit clairement d’un hôtel business qui tente d’attirer des clients le week-end, mais qui n’assure pas vraiment. Dommage car la situation et le potentiel sont bien présents.

Une nuit à l'abbaye

Hôtel très propre et chambres spacieuses, dans une localité à la périphérie nord de Bruxelles. Quartier calme, grand parking à disposition. Un restaurant dans l'hôtel que je n'ai pas testé. Les chambres sont dans un style un peu austère mais bien équipées. Le petit déjeuner buffet du matin est convenable, mais pourrait offrir un peu plus de choix. Le personnel est discret et efficace. Bonne étape pour un voyage d'affaires.

Net hotel in oude abdij. gebouw sfeervol en in nette staat. Parking op eigen eigen terrein is ideaal. ontbijt is goed, genoeg keuze en variatie. grote kamer, voldoende oppervlakte. kamer is voorzien van goede uitrusting.

Hotel bello come struttura, camera ampia ma materasso duro e cuscini purtroppo troppo molli e quadrati. Accessori da toilette minimi, la saponetta dopo poche lavate si consumava in quanto molto sottile così come il bagno schiuma e lo shampoo in confezioni micro. Colazione minima e non di buona qualità

Good clean Hotel- excellent restaurant

The Abbey is what I would describe as a good business traveller hotel, very clean comfortable. It is in the centre of Grimbergen which has 4/5 restaurants. The hotel restaurant itself is of a very good standard
