Great location for the Kelpies which was in easy, well lit walking distance. The room was big and well presented. Breakfast was good with very friendly staff. We ate in Cooks the adjoining restaurant on recommendation of the hotel staff and it was very good. Although very close to the motorway there was no noise and sleep quality was great!

Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel hat jedoch seine besten Jahre hinter sich. Im Bad Schimmel, vieles ist abgenutzt und sieht nicht mehr schön aus.

Convenient hotel just off the M9. Friendly staff and dinner and breakfast was good. Plenty of parking available. Negatives for me were the elevator being out of action and although it just 2 floors I found it difficult to get upstairs with my suitcase. Also outdoor furniture and area was a little tired. These details wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

Although a little dated the property was clean and the staff were absolutely superb. The Cooks pub serving food was excellent and the staff that worked in there were extremely friendly, can’t recommend there enough.

Check in was great. The hotel is beautiful and great location. But our toilet didn’t work and when I called I was told that the maintenance guy was on holiday. With no resolution offered until I insisted that we really needed a working toilet. Then we were moved to another room and the rest of the stay was great. It was just a bit off putting that it sounded like we were expected to be fine with a non working bathroom

Restaurant, 100% recommend! Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and informative. Easy to find and super market across the street. Bathroom could use some updating and a deep cleaning. Instructions for turning on the room heater would have been helpful. Highly recommend and will stay again.

Lovely staff. Restaurant is in a building outside the main building as were our rooms and the lift wasn’t working. Not great travelling with an elderly relative. The building was a bit run down but it suited the purpose for one night.
