The staff were friendly and quick. The room was okay. The smoke detector was missing from the wall (the mounting plate was still there). The thermostat was not attached fully to the wall and the toilet seat was not screwed down on one side. The overall cleanliness of the room was okay, but the hotel overall could use some updates and repairs.

Standing water in the bathroom, had to cancel my entire stay and find a new hotel late in the evening.

Aside from an elevator being broken and the pool not being open, the main complaint I have about my stay was housekeeping. I was there for two days and three nights. The first day, they didn’t clean my room at all. The second day I specifically called to request housekeeping come while I went out to breakfast. When I came back, housekeeping had only cleaned the bathroom. They didn’t make the bed or do anything in the other part of the hotel room. I called the front desk because this is incredibly weird. They called me back and told me that the housekeeper said that the bed was already made, and she had cleaned the room. This was a complete and total lie. Who makes their own bed when they stay at a hotel? And even if it were made already which it wasn’t, she should still change the linens.The bed was clearly not made at all. Things happen and I can understand that someone could get called away in the middle of doing something and then maybe forget to come back and finish. But that’s not what was explained to me. This Housekeeper didn’t clean the full room and she then lied about it. In defense of the hotel staff, they did offer to put me in a different room or have the housekeeper come back or even for the front desk person to change the linens. By that point, though I just wanted to use the room so I said no thank you.

Absolutely terrible hotel where it feels dated, neglected, and just gross. The room seemed dated with old, ripped carpeting, there was not enough towels for an evening shower and a morning shower for two adults. The hotel was very old, with plastered walls from decades ago, it had shower heads that looked extremely old and out of a science fiction movie, sinks and tubs are dated with wear and tear, vents that were clogged with dirt and dust, and one elevator was not working. The hotel felt empty of staff and people, very ghostly and unkept. The receptionists from night and morning check-ins/checkouts seemed like it was just not a priority to check in or check guests out, as they were eating or just not having extra energy or interpersonal customer service-oriented skillsets. Thank you, but I would not stay here again, especially with better hotels in the area for about the same cost.

The room was not as clean as it could have been, we found a condom wrapper behind the mattress. The hallways and elevator all had a smell faintly of trash. The hotel itself just did not seem that it was super well kept up, and the remodeling done on the rooms seemed poorly done.

The room was good, although lots of iron in the water. This hotel needs some upgrades. The pool was not open, the restaurant and bar were closed. The staff was very friendly and upgraded my room with a view of the river. I appreciated that and I think this hotel has great potential.

Disappointed by lack of restaurant, pool, and broken elevator. Hotel room sink was clogged. Shower emitted brown water. Towels were stained. Felt very gross overall.

They had closed the INDOOR pool for the season, the hotel is falling apart, water spots in the bathroom, water was yellow and found things between the bed and headboard so clearly not getting cleaned well.

Front desk staff was pleasant. Hotel is very old and needs updating. Someone had locked the safe so we couldn’t use it. The wall temperature gage was broken so we had to manually work the baseboard heater. Turned it up to 78 degrees for hours for the room to warm up. Because we didn’t stay in the room for a long period, we didn’t have time to call maintenance for the heat or safe… see just settled. We slept fine then checked out the next morning. I will not return for the price. Felt like a budget motel.
