"For the value, the resort had everything we needed! Our room was very underwhelming. Not how the pictures looked at all. The resort was comfortable and safe. Food was great! We ate at the buffet. It was difficult to book at the restaurants because they filled up so fast. There are a few bar/restaurants that are a quick walk on the beach. I had two massages which were wonderful! The staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"The property itself is great! Right on the a private beach, beautiful pool, very nice. The staff was not very attentive, or friendly. The bar drinks were weak, small and pricey. The rooms were great, very spacious, could use some updating, but overall were nice. Housekeeping checked in daily for trash and fresh towels. I would recommend this hotel, however, do not expect a resort. It's a beautiful location, but not much to do other than beach and pool. We rented a car and used it every...

"The 3 pools onsite at the Pelican are small but nice. The restaurant at the pool was convenient and delicious. The staff is very nice and helpful. You have to take the free ferry (or shuttle) to Taino Beach and this is where you find the fun slide, and swim up cave bar that you see in some of the pictures. We really enjoyed this pool. Would def recommend, especially for a family of five bc the room was big enough and they brought a cot for small fee. "
