Very goog stopover

Nice big room and clean pool. Perfect for a Grafton visit or stopover. Only negative was the pillows were too big and hard.

Easy walking access to the river walk, shopping, restaurants. The motel is older so not to expect modern decor, but clean large, comfortable room. Comfortable bed. Smallish bathroom, but you don't live in a bathroom. A good choice for accommodation in a beautiful town.

I thought it was the best stay I have had in years. Felt like home. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, super convenient. Comfortable bed. Then there was the shower, no ‘water saver’, can’t get wet here. It was just the best. Only problem I had was that I had to leave the next day. I’ll be baaack!

When I got to the property I was greet with "there is a problem with you booking". The owner was new and was unaware that the motel appeared on the Expedia site. The owner was gracious and did all she could to provide accommodation for the night, although the accommodation was inferior to the accommodation I had booked on Expedia. This seems to be more an Expedia problem than a problem with the proprietors of the motel. The proprietor did all she could in circumstances to help, for which I am grateful.

Civic Motel is tops!

The Civic was the loveliest place to stay. Cosy and comfortable, it was centrally located to shops, cinemas, hotels and restaurants. I highly recommend The Civic.

The staff were fantastic, friendly, professional and helpful in pointing out where things were located. My room was clean had everything i needed. If i return to Grafton the Civic is where i will look too first.

The room is very dated as are the facilities. Austar channels are very limited, old system means finding something to watch is difficult. The enertainment from the pub accross the road was so loud that ear plugs were needed to sleep, luckily I had some. I paid $25.13 more than my mates did for the night. I thought I was supposed pay the same or better when using booking sites. I have stayed here previously but won't be again.

All you need for a comfortable night

Close to town and easy to get evening meal Toaster jug cutlery and plates for breakfast, you bring the makings and you are off to a great start

Grafton stay

Well priced Room had a double bed (not so comfortable) and a single bed and ensuite was clean Did not use air con but it was a window rattler Decor a bit dated Shower was a good size Crown hotel has good meals and drinks reasonable prices and about 400m walk Bogans in next room were noisey early morning, construction workers Would stay there again
