「The people and place were welcoming and helpful. From dealing with a medical emergency to finding a last minute ride to the airport, our hosts could not have been more lovely. They accommodated us more then enough and treated us like family/close friends. We loved our down time at the villa in the swimming pool and on the amazing verandas, and strolling the streets of the village throughout the day was peaceful and picturesque. 「Recently renovated rooms, pool and bar areas, all done to a high standard. The staff really make this place somewhere you want to come back. Such a friendly place with a relaxed vibe during the day and sociable bar at night. Loads of bars and restaurants on the doorstep, although the food and drinks served in the bar are lovely and great value for money. Like everywhere in Koutouloufari there are a lot of stairs so maybe no good if you have a pushchair or limited mobility. Can't wait to go...

「The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality! 」
