"Staff friendly as always , lovely hotel in a lively town . The walk along the prom is always enjoyable - nice scenery and plenty of fresh air.
Always look forward to our 4 - 5 weeks at the Cliff each year "
"The room was newly refurbished, good standard, bright, modern, all the basics, plenty of power points with built in usb ports.
The staff were helpful, friendly and tried hard. They were let down by outside contractor not fitting a new boiler properly so it took time before the hot water was fixed.
Letsface it , Yarmouth has a lot of old crumbly hotels that need a lot of work.
While overall the Hotel looks dated they are doing up the rooms.
It is a bit hit and miss but you're not paying much so dont expect the Ritz if your paying less tan 40 quid for a double, then theres probably issues.
I only paid 12 quid with loyalty offers and 32 forthe second night .
No kettle and heating not on , were remidied quickly .
There was a fridge and microwave in room , so you get a lot for your money."
"The communication from the hotel was excellent, and accessing the room later in the day via the key box was no problem at all. The location is great—just a short walk to the beach and shops. The room was clean, though definitely a bit tired. The carpets were grubby, and the wallpaper could use some attention. Still, for the price, it was perfectly adequate.
It’s unclear whether rooms are let on a longer-term basis, but it seemed that way. Sadly, our neighbour was audibly upset and sobbed through the night—not the hotel’s fault, of course, but difficult to hear."
"I always try to stay at this hotel when in Yarmouth and it has always been a good experience. However, this time there was no restaurant or bar as everything was closed. "
"Radiator not working so room was cold, tap on bath rattling and water spurting out took ages to fill bath. Shared room with a dozen ladybirds..canteen downstairs never open. Unlocked and unsafe left luggage hall.i came fownstairs a few times about radiator in the night and noonf on reception rang number on desk but it wasnt regonised.
