「Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.」

A localização é boa, mas precisa de carro para ir até os locais de maior concentração de restaurantes e compras (10 minutos). A vista da varanda é linda. Recomendo muito o local, de forma geral. 「I love this hotel. I stay here whenever I visit Faro/Algarve. It’s beautiful, the staff are friendly and always helpful. There’s also a spa so you can get massages. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax and chill , this hotel is the best for that vibe. 」

「A lovely 3 nights in the Velamar We had a room on the 2nd floor woth a sea view which was very nice. A lovely live singer around the pool on Friday afternoon she was really good. A great choice at breakfast on the roof top restaurant. All of the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Overall a lovely hotel and can recommend staying there. 」

「Excellent location. Clean. Large rooms. The hotel actually consists of two hotels. One is older but remolded and overlooks the sea. The one we stayed at was just above it. Very quiet in January but apparently quite the opposite at other times of the year. Good service. Buffet breakfast. Good but not excellent. Buffet dinner can be purchased also. We ate there a couple of times - 25 E pp. 」

「The resort has plentiful facilities and close to the beach. We are in the ocean suite and the room is nicely decorated and spacious The management is not up to a five star hotel standard. Firstly the dishes in the buffet restaurant, Jardim Colonial, were not very clean, some of which with stains. Having said that , the staffs in the restaurant are helpful. Secondly the food variety was not sufficient. Thirdly , on the last day, we went for breakfasts after checking out. We were told to...
