My experience has been terrible and disgusted throught the stay. The room smelled oily. The carper was greasy. There cockroaches from everywhere. I had terrible sleep due this. This is a very wrong representation of the property. The photo showed in the advertisement is so clean and nice where as the room was quite the opposite of it. When I complained of cockroachea to receptionist she told we do it evey 3 months and there is nothing they can do right now. I had sleepless nights because of the fear of cockroaches and the smell in the lobby and the room. ChatGPT said: Certainly. Here's a more strongly worded version of your complaint, reflecting frustration and disgust: My experience at this property was absolutely appalling and utterly disgusting. From the moment I stepped into the room, I was hit with a strong, greasy, oily stench that made it impossible to feel comfortable. The carpet was sticky and grimy, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. To make matters worse, cockroaches were crawling out from every corner — an absolute health hazard and beyond unacceptable. I barely got any sleep during my stay. Every night was filled with anxiety and discomfort — constantly on edge, fearing cockroaches might crawl over me while I tried to sleep. The photos advertised are completely misleading, showing a clean and modern space, whereas the reality was filthy, unhygienic, and the exact opposite. Always hard to review 'accurately' when rooms that are 'individually owned' may vary. For our experience, I would describe the room we were allocated as tired and long overdue for a reno. The Equinox is convenient for public transport, walking, and has lovely views with good facilities eg pool, spa, steam room, bbq's etc.

Great location and view from 7th floor. Lift is annoyingly slow. Notice of linen change would have been helpful as I was a bit startled when guy came in to my room unannounced. Box of tissues and an extra toilet roll would be good for a 9 day stay.

The Equinox is a very old high rise so if you’re looking for flashy bathrooms and kitchens, this place is not for you. BUT, if you’re looking for a comfortable bed to sleep in, a functional bathroom with a hot shower with full pressure, a basic kitchen with a full sized fridge, a big lounge room with smart tv and sofa bed, then this is the perfect place for you to stay in. Check in was easy and very friendly and informative. The Equinox has million dollar views of both the ocean and canals. We saw pods of dolphins and whales playing from the balcony. It is directly across from Main Beach so has easy access to the beach, it’s an 8 minute, easy stroll from the heart of Surfers Paradise, so perfect if you’re looking to go out on the town and not have to worry about driving home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Equinox and would definitely recommend staying there.

Unfortunately we were there during cyclone alfred so we saw it at its worst. Our unit had a beautiful view that was wonderful, however it leaked & there were broken latches on the window with the wind sounded like a freight train in your room. We left early. With beautiful weather it would have been different.

This Apartment complex is in my opinion the best value on the GoldCoast. I rented it for my parents who were attending a golf championship. And would definitely recommend it to those who would loke a bit bigger soace than a hotel room offers. The ability to cook and have a lounge area to chill in.. Plenty of parking and great views
