La proprietaria è stata gentilissima, ci ha offerto la stanza nel cottage allo stesso prezzo perché la nostra aveva una scala ripida per accedervi e con una neonata non ce la sentivamo. Colazione fantastica, tutto local e di qualità! Anche qui massima flessibilità, nonostante siamo arrivati dopo l’orario della colazione, non hanno avuto problemi a servirci. Il posto è incantevole」

「The hotel was located right across the street from the station so it was very convenient as we traveled in and out of Rouen by train. The staff was very helpful and showed us how to get to the main attractions. We were upgraded to a larger room and it was great. There was a kettle and free tea bags and instant coffee were provided. Will definitely stay there again next time. 」

「Stayed here for 1 night in late September 2025. The hotel is stunning, with fantastic grounds and gardens. The breakfast was fantastic, and we didn’t expect the chocolate brownie, which was a nice treat. The evening fine dining was expensive but delicious, and the ales and beers from vexin were top notch. The grounds around the hotel feel very safe, and we were able to store 2 bicycles in an outside storage facility, which was secure.」

「Great little hotel in the Normandy countryside. About a 15 minute drive to Monet's garden and a number of good restaurant options. The hotel has a restaurant with limited food options, but a great bar and sitting area. Beautiful grounds in a quiet location with plenty of fresh air.」

「The kindest most hospitable staffs I have seen. Always checking in to see if there was anything else needed. Spotless place with all the modern amenities. Brand new kitchen setup with stove, microwave, dish washer, sink, fridge, ect. Perfectly clean bathroom with very hotwater. Bedroom has nice comfortable mattress with white beddings. Most of all, this is a great example of French hospitality while experiencing European castle like living. 」

「Great stopover on route back to the uk. We had a great meal at the hotel. Reception staff couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating, he even made us coffee & croissants at 6.30 am as we had to leave early. Highly recommend this hotel, we always stay here on our way to and from the Dordogne. 」
