"Acorn Lodge was a great place for us to stay to visit a friend in Aldeburgh, eat out at The Lighthouse and The Regatta and to enjoy a day full of companionable relaxation in the countryside. "Very friendly staff. I had the opportunity to order an evening meal (Sunday) which was excellent. Breakfast was included which again was excellent. Help yourself to cereal, fruit juice and DIY toast. I ordered the vegan hot breakfast which was brought to me on a plate, everything was hot and cooked to my liking. My room had plenty of space and was quiet, although you could hear other residents shutting their doors. It would have been nice to have had a separate table in the room apart from the dressing table and bedside tables. I found the hot water to be hot at any time of day. The one drawback was, that the grab rails on the bath where fixed, had black mould around the edges. Apart from that, everything else appeared clean and it would not deter me from rebooking again in the future."
