「We had a wonderful stay at Aqua Resort. The view is absolutely beautiful, our room was very clean, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming as well. The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed our time there. The only downside was that when we returned to our villa at night, there were no lights outside the room, and the pool lights were also off. It made it difficult to walk around safely after dark. Other than that, we had a great experience and would recommend this resort.」

「This was our second stay here. We came back as it is the place to go if you go to San Juan Del Sur and want to relax and be away from the busy life of town AND there is a beach nearby. Has a Mama Mia vibe to it. Perhaps we were off season, but the food was not as good as our first visit. I kept being promised they would have the peanut butter chocolate bars “tomorrow”, but these delicious bars I enjoyed last time never materialized. I think next time we will try a different place.」

「The place was amazing itself but there’re crabs everywhere around the property due to hurricane season. The breakfast was amazing. I book a private dinner the dinner was amazing. The room was great but there too many crabs in the property that ruined the experience.」

「They never had a room for me even with a confirmed reservation. They charged me for 2 nights without me being able to stay on property and have not replied for a refund. 」

「I really had a nightmare with the reservation through Expedia. They book a house for me that was not available by the time I got to the hotel. I got notice that the house we book the luxury house with the pool was not available and was never available. The facility did their best to accommodate me in my family and one of the small condo what I have learned to not book through Expedia instead book through the page of the hotel otherwise you might walk into the same issue.」
