The pool has trees growing, the bathroom door was grime and lipstick . So we really needed a place to stay overnight . It was a bit gross. Sheets and towels were clean , no bed bugs, fridge, ac worked . A big space under the door so we put the rug to block it . No batteries in tv remote, cigarette burns on the bedspread which was also the blanket . I’m not sure if he is trying to fix it up or just doesn’t care . Pay a bit more and don’t go here . Don’t believe YELP. Shows gardens and a nice pool .

Although the management team was polite and friendly their property was lacking incredibly. My family and I drove up to G Burg from North Carolina for a quick stop to rest as we live 6 more hours north and we were met with some very questionable conditions in the room and the environment surrounding the property. We didn’t even stay for 30 minutes. The room smelled of dirty old cigarette smell and the beds had strange yellow stains all over the mattress cover sheets. My biggest concern was when we pulled up to the room we had strange children running in and out of our room! The curtains and windowsills were dusty and from their words it was a newly furnished room with new floors and new bathroom. Not true. Unless your tenants on site are smoking in your rooms, there’s no way this is a non smoking room or motel. My daughter has strange bites on her legs and hands now just from being in that room for 20 minutes. We left the room and returned the key to the woman at the office desk. My well wishes to the owners to get their property properly serviced and corrected, but please don’t spend your money here as you will not get a refund and you will be facing the harshest conditions not fit for even a one night rental.

BED BUG INN! STAY AWAY!

From beginning to end this motel was a nightmare. There is a severe bed bug infestation in every single room on the property. Appliances are broken if they’re even supplied at all. Sticky carpets, sickly sweet smelling moldy rooms, the windows don’t have locks and are accessible and half the lights are torn out of the rooms leaving it almost completely black inside. Again, most importantly, there is a severe bed bug infestation on this property. You will be bitten and your property will be infested. Don’t make the mistake I did and stay here, please go anywhere else than this motel. I lost hundreds of dollars of property, time, and my mental state has suffered greatly.

The bed was clean and comfy but there was a used cup left in the bathroom and the water pressure in the shower was awful. The back deck was really nice and private but there was no light so i couldn't get any use of it.

Sad little motel.

Small motel. Not updated at all. Bed was hard mattress flat pillows. Curtains very see threw no shampoo in shower tiny bathroom. No coffee in room. The room that had coffee was just that coffee. Nothing else. Needs a lot of TLC and updating. Okay for a night and a bed to sleep in. That’s it.

Stinky, moldy, run-down room. Even though we had a reservation, we left for another hotel in Gettysburg. Until Blue Sky dramatically renovates its rooms, i recommend no one to stay in this motel. Run away!

The room we had was cozy and very clean. Yes, it's an older motel but that's part of the ambience for me and my guy. We will definitely stay again if our travels call for it.

It did it's job — a comfy place to stay the night while traveling. If you're not looking for a lavish stay and just need a place to lay your head without spending a ton of money, this place will serve that need. Some of the molding and fixtures could be updated, but I wasn't really there for that. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in really late since we were coming from a family reunion. Plus it's super close to downtown Gettysburg which is great. Overall I was content with our stay. Thanks!

we had a very pleasant stay, the room was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, we had a little kitchenette if we wanted to make a snack or store cold drinks. All around a very nice place. we would definitely come back for another stay

Don't Stop Here Motel

We tried to stay in a quaint old fashioned less expensive place, for once. What a mistake! The "desk clerk" knew nothing. Couldn't find our reservation, didn't know how to pull it up. Had to yell for help to the office/house attached. The room was small, dark, dirty and poorly furnished. The carpet was dampish, or so filthy it felt that way. The curtains were mismatched and insufficient. The air conditioner worked, but made strange wheezing sounds during its on off cycle. And the bathroom, I choose to believe the strange streaks on the walls and baseboards and floor were....paint? Tiny, scratchy, thin towels, 2 of them, and 2 wash cloths, and a bath mat. Paint scratched and missing and filthy doorknobs. My list of complaints goes on and on. This place should be bulldozed. Ours was room 11. The motel rates as 3 stars, so we gave it a try. Afterwards we read the reviews and we should have known. All either 1 star, or 5 stars. You can guess who has been writing 5 star reviews. Anyplace would have been better. Next time I'll sleep in my truck.

Close to Gettysburg

Comfortable room with fridge & microwave. Quiet. Only stayed one night, but would return here again. Even had deck area that looked out into the surrounding fields. Bring your own toiletries & blow dryer if you need them.

Nice cozy motel

This is what we expected and wanted. A nice cozy pet friendly hotel in a nice quiet country setting. A lot of "green" behind the building for our dogs to enjoy, the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly. The pool looked nice, although we didn't use it. Being close to Gettysburg and the battlefields was a plus. We would recommend this place, and will probably stay there again. Oh yeah, got a kick out of the chickens roaming free on the property.

Nice motel close to everything

My boyfriend and I stayed there for a weekend get away. The motel was close to everything. I mean we are seconds away from bigglerville and you are seconds away from Gettysburg. It's nice it's out of the way. You aren't in town or nothing. We always try to get this motel.

Nice place

Room reminded me of my apartment in college! I thought the room was just fine. The price was right and the service was great. I really like the back porch. The place was clean, although could use an update. The price was right for me! I will probably be back!
