The rooms were clean, and the staff was very helpful with regard to shopping for groceries and suggesting places to eat. They even had umbrellas to use in case of rain. Great place to stay.

It was almost perfect. The towels were very thin and old, and the light switches were very hard to understand. Other than those two tiny things everything else was perfect. Very clean nice and comfortable.

Stayed here as a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids (10, 6, 4) Good size room, clean, washing machine in room was very handy. Reception staff very helpful. Beautiful rural area with mountains, rivers and waterfalls. Gero-onsen is an outdoor museum of transferred houses that depict life in an early Japanese settlement. Worth a visit!
