"very clean room"

"Did not feel comfortable with immediate surroundings. Elevator area was dark. Room looked very "dumpy" towels were paper thin and there was blood on the toilet seat. Staff was fair, but not helpful at all when I asked to leave after the first night stay and get a refund for 2nd night. Accomodations were booked through Expedia, and they were extremely helpful with getting me a refund for the 2nd night. Would not recommend this hotel."

"The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was very good with fresh made omelets and bacon. Parking is behind the hotel and there is plenty. Very happy with my stay."

"This hotel is convenient and cute. The room set-up is GREAT! Having a living room separate from the bedroom is very nice. It is definitely older, but I think their pricing reflects that. I like the way the rooms are themed for Aggieland. The evening front desk clerk is super nice as is the mini happy hour. Would definitely stay again."

"Valet was good, checkin at 11pm was terrible and incompetent, bar was good and helpful, room was clean but the WiFi didn’t work and therefore the TV didn’t work, 4th floor was under construction and floor was wrapped in plastic and loud because of construction workers. Nobody told us that The George was under renovations, not even at checkin. We have been wanting to stay here for years and we were thoroughly disappointed. Hopefully they will do better once the reno is completed. FYI, the restaurant next door is close and concrete, but they are not partners with The George. You cannot charge the bill to your room."
