Our #1 choice when in College Station. Clean rooms, great vibe and decor. We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always a good time with a solid night of sleep. Only con, if you book through a third party such as Expedia, they will go out of their way to remind you you’ve booked with a third party. The rooms they reserve for you are not as well located as they would be when booking directly with The George. This last stay they must have mentioned that we booked with a third party at least three times and placed us in the very last room, furthest from the elevator, and next to a room where they were doing loud repairs. You could hear restoration fans? blowing throughout the night and the work crew during the day. Fortunately, it was only for one night.

It's been hard to find a nice hotel with a good value while visiting Texas A&M University. We were so pleased when we happened to book a stay at The George. The modern Texas vibe is so stylish and fun (You'll want to check out the life-size faux sheep who mysteriously change poses in the halls!) The staff was helpful and friendly. We're definitely planning to stay here again.

Amazing hotel! Stay there! Lots of restaurants within yards of the hotel. Also a Star Cinema Grill if want catch a movie. Stay there!! Free parking as well .
