I'm writing this with price in mind. This room was on the very low end of hotel rooms in Geneva. It was a excellent value, charming antique feel with beautiful outdoor space and use of belhurst facilities. We recieved a free wine tasting and continental breakfast that included fresh baked muffins and other cold food and hot coffee. Only thing I can say negative is the amount of bird poop on the deck by columns under nests was excessive. But I'd rather step over that then have baby bird disturbed.

White Springs Manor essentially works as an unstaffed, overflow property for Belhurst Castle. You have to check in at the latter ...though a dropped connection between Expedia and the properties did not inform us. Also WSM is dated, with a musty/dank lobby area. As an example, see.photo - property did not bother with bed ruffle, bare mattress showing. The toilet in our bathroom was truly a 'throne' - up a set of stairs! - and yet shorter than a standard toilet. Weird. Finally note that limited continental breakfast must be taken at the Belhurst property...and not worth the trip (bagged bagels, canned juice, corn flakes) It's a lovely area, find something more charming.

The entire facility needs a good & thorough cleaning and much needed and long past overdue maintenance. The service staff was surly and rude and restaurant staff equally so. The "continental breakfast" meager and limited. We have had better breakfasts at a Hampton Inn and theirs is weak. All in all the price was way out of line with what we received. We will never return to this place and will make certain that all of our friends are informed.

White Springs Manor is a beautiful, historic, bed and breakfast, located in a nice area, about 2 miles from Belhurst Castle, where the breakfast is actually provided. We found the mansion and surrounding property nicely maintained, quiet, and while we felt it was clean, we couldn't help but notice a foul odor coming from a small garbage can, immediately upon entering the vestibule of the mansion. The lodging and amenities were adequate. White Springs Manor deserves a bit more TLC, however. If the mansion could be thoroughly cleaned, windows washed inside and out, updated a bit with the carpeting and in the vending machine space, even polished, it could possibly be an outstanding property, where people would want to return to time and time again. As for us, one visit was enough. Thank you.

The room had a tub that was disgusting. Instead of resolving the staff commented the housekeeping was gone for the day and it was probably the "pipes". Service - we were 9 minutes early for dinner on the Castle and they refused to seat us so we stood there until 6:30. There were plenty of empty tables! Our server was gone most of the meal and I had to get another server to find her. Front desk personnel were dismissive and rude. Not a good overall experience and I would no lat recommend this property.
