This fine little hotel can’t be beat for location, convenience and charm. The staff were very helpful. There is no elevator and quite a lot of stairs, so it won’t work for everyone. I stayed in the adjacent annex (Gotyk2) and found it very comfortable. My room was directly atop a Mexican restaurant that could get a bit loud late into the night. The hotel doesn’t do breakfast itself but guests can pay for a breakfast at the restaurant. I did that once. A Mexican-inflected breakfast wasn’t really what I was looking for in Gdansk. If you can wait until 9am, you can get a lovely breakfast at Drukarnia just down Mariacka Street.

Gotyk House was a great choice for our 3 day stay in Gdansk. It’s close proximity to the center of town made it convenient as we barely had to walk to reach the main attractions. Rooms had all the amenities you could think of, and the hotel staff were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Bra på mycket, men inte allt.
Trevligt rum, hotell och läge. Tyvärr fungerade inte AC, och vi fick ingen direkt hjälp heller när vi sa till om det så vi hade 24/25 grader i rummet hela tiden. Varmvattnet tog slut ena förmiddagen, efter 15 min blev det ljummet igen.

Hotellet ligger i mitten av Gdansk Gamla stan och är väldigt fint på utsidan och i inte. På receptionen arbetar supertrevliga personer, väldigt kompetenta och hjälpsamma. Speciellt en kille som hjälpte oss med alla varat problem. Frukosten som man kan betala på hotellet var god och vi hade en vegan med oss och restaurang anpassat maten till den. Det var superkul. Rummet var bekväm och hade allt som vi behövde.

Great location and staff are very helpful. I was concerned at first that street noise might be an issue (there are some bars nearby), but while we could hear it a bit, it really never disturbed our sleep.

When you enter the room in the beautifully renovated building you might be excused to be overwhelmed by the stylish appearance. It looks fabulous. The fittings are modern and sleek. However on closer observation you find there is nowhere to place your suitcase, there is nowhere to hang your towel. No bathmat. No complimentary handsoap. The aircon controlled by the reception cannot be changed and as a result you have to leave your window open and be kept awake by constant loud noise by people walking past at all hours. The staircase looks great but is very narrow on the corners when carrying your suitcase up/down. No tourist informations provided or offered on arrival. This place could be fabulous by a few additions to make a weary travellers life a little easier. Great location.

They are doing a renovation on the old hotel and moved everything next door to a new space. The room was a bit small but, perfectly located. It is right next to the church but, you can hardly hear the bells. Staff is amazing. My husband got seriously ill while in Gdansk and they found an English speaking doctor who came to the hotel. They let us check out late the next day and they were so sweet. Also in the hotel description it doesn’t show but they will do laundry for 50 zolty (wash/dry/fold). Amazing location, amazing staff would stay again

Great stay in the heart of Gdańsk old town!
The room was great, location was great (in the heart of Gdańsk old town), breakfast (paid separately) was great. Staff's English was okay. Showerheads could be cleaned more thoroughly. Other than that, a really good choice, I highly recommend.

It was a overall nice stay, nice room and best location. The room was not cleaned good enough (rom 12), it was dust evrywhere and the coffe cops hasn`t been washed from previouis guest. We reserved pickup from the airport at night, the car was outstanding but the driver was not so service minded and hold a verty high speed when ever he could, he drove over 160 km pr hr on a couple off places. The driver who took us back to airport when we where going home was perfect, he was service minded and drove smuth and calm all the way, like a limo driver should.
