「Walking distance from the village of Wakefield, yet it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. The staff were friendly and 100% bilingual. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The restaurant food was great and the sound of falls in background created a nice ambiance. The wooden exteriors of the building are starting to show their age, but that was the only negative I can think of. We will return.」

「Renovated smaller Hotel and super clean room. We were amazed. The Hotel is in a very quiet area with plenty of parking. No elevator due to the small size of Hotel. Check -in clerk was not very welcoming. Suggestion: A warm hello and a smile go a long way especially when working at the Reception desk. Check-out clerk was amazing. Would definitely stay here again when in the Gatineau/Ottawa area.」

「Three adults and two dogs stayed for three nights. Comfortable one bedroom with two queen beds, separate living room and small kitchen with full fridge. Kitchen could be stocked a bit better with glassware, utensils etc and the kitchen table needs a third chair. TV has very basic cable with no option to log into a Netflix or Prime account.
